Since 2018, Peter van Beveren has housed his private collection of thousands of catalogues, photo and artist books and other archival material in Billytown in the centre of The Hague. The Archives / Peter van Beveren Library is located on the first floor of the Billytown complex, where activities based on the collection are organised on an irregular basis. Billytown also houses twenty artists' studios, a guest studio, a gallery and a bookshop.
The Archives collection focuses on contemporary art and the (historical) development of the photo and artist's book.
The library does not lend, but is available on request for on-site scholarly research.
